Ms. Johnson is a solo speech pathologist specializing in complex pediatric speech, language and learning disorders. She has nearly 20 years of progressive speech therapy and rehabilitation experience and she has provided speech therapy in a wide variety of settings such as her own private practice, public and private schools, acute care hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, outpatient clinics, Head Start, developmental centers, skilled nursing facilities and home health.
Ms. Johnson received a Bachelor's of Science in Speech Pathology from Carlow University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1976 and a Masters of Arts in Speech Pathology from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio in 1978. She is certified in speech-language pathology by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA.org) as well as licensed to practice speech-language pathology in the State of Texas. She has received a second Award for Continuing Education (ACE) by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association in 2017 for achieving a over 70 continuing education contact hours in a thirty-six month period.
